The Windsor Symphony Orchestra Intimate Classics Series:

In 1918, the Great War ended when Germany signed an armistice agreement with Allied forces. To commemorate the 100th anniversary, The WSO has created a moving Remembrance Day program. Featuring WSO Concertmaster Lilian Scheirich, the performance pays tribute to those who experienced the horror and devastation of the First World War.

Come see the local coin clubs "Wildlife Coin Exhibit" at the Riverview Park & Zoo this Saturday, July 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Located at the main entrance (Lion's Club Educational Centre), there will be free exhibits, prizes for the kids and freezies too! Come checkout displays of coins, tokens and paper money with a wildlife theme from around the world. Vote for your favourite exhibit/display.

FRIENDS Peterborough Fundraiser Concert on August 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Del Crary Park featuring Pete Gauthier, Washboard Hank & the Wringers and the McDonnel Street Gospel Quartet.  FREE ADMISSION!  All proceeds go to FRIENDS Peterborough, a downtown agency offering "help, hope and a hand up".

Making his WSO Debut, internationally acclaimed pianist Spencer Myer performs Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A. Myers was instrumental in the selection of our new Steinway piano. Included on this program is Divertimento by influential Canadian composer Violet Archer and Tchaikovsky’s fateful Symphony No. 4.
