New art exhibit by Mary & Rachael Groombridge, "Fixed Flux." Opens First Friday, Sept. 7, 6-9. Runs until end of the month. Everyone welcome, free admission.
St. John's Church Men's Group is hosting a Ham and Potato Casserole Dinner Sept. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church at 301 Main St. E. There will be ham, scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, dessert and a drink. Gluten free option will be available. Adults $12, Students $9, Children 6-12 $5 and children under 6 no charge.
The Thousand Islands Fine Art Association (TIFAA) is hosting its 36th annual show September 15 and 16, and on the following weekend, September 22 and 23. As it has been for several years, the show will be held at the Thousand Island National Park Visitor Center, located on the Parkway at Mallorytown Landing. Everyone is welcome during the opening hours from 10 am to 5 pm and at a reception with refreshments and music on Sunday, September 16 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Admission and parking are free. On both Saturdays, a draw will take place for a gift certificate of $100 to be used towards the purchase of a TIFAA piece of art.

The City of Windsor and the International Relations Committee will be hosting a Children’s Art Exhibition with some of our twin cities.
The art will be on display in the lobby of 350 City Hall Square from Friday August 24 through Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
Along with art from local groups including children from City of Windsor summer camps, the Art Gallery of Windsor’s Children’s Program and the Multicultural Council’s Youth Program, children from our twin cities of Changchun, China; Gunsan, South Korea; Fujisawa, Japan and Las Vueltas, El Salvador are participating.
