The Warriors of Hope Breast Cancer Survivors Dragon Boat Racing Team is hosting their 14th Annual 4-Person Scramble Golf Tournament at Osprey Links Golf Course on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

Don’t miss your opportunity to enter a team!  Registration/coffee:  9:30 a.m.  Shotgun start: 10:30 a.m.  Dinner: 4:00 p.m.    The entry fee of $100.00 per person includes: golf cart, greens fee, chicken and rib BBQ dinner, prize draw entry and each participant will receive a $20 charitable receipt.

There will be a $5,000 hole-in-one prize, courtesy of Rivet Insurance.

Postcard and paper ephemera annual show in Merrickville. Taking place Saturday Sept. 8 at the Merrickville Community Centre. Show runs 9am to 4pm with free admission and free parking. More than 20 dealers will be on hand and everyone is welcome!

The all male 4 part harmony group with pianist, RESOLVE, will lead an all musical gospel service at Friendship United Church in Demorestville at 10:00am. Service to last approx. 1hour. The music will be old hymns, southern gospel, and new arrangements of old hymns. All welcome. Free will offering appreciated. 

All are welcome to join us for our Chicken Burger and French Fry dinner.  Doors open at 5:30 pm, with dinner being served at 6 pm. Cost is $10/plate. Live entertainment to follow by Timber Country.
