Description: Family Sunday Activity: Block Printing Engage, discover, and create every Sunday afternoon from 1–3PM. Make your own stamps using “bits and pieces” from around the house. Bring in your own shreds of old fabric, bottle caps or anything that inspires you. If you don’t have anything at home - don’t worry, we will have supplies for you. Free. $5 Suggested Material Donation per family. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Town of Tecumseh will be hosting a Public Information Session relating to controlling and discouraging wildlife and rodents in urban areas. Presentations will be given by Erie Wildlife Rescue and Coyote Watch Canada. Representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Orkin Canada Pest & Termite Control, Pro Trap Wildlife Control & Pest Management and Bob’s Animal Removal will also be in attendance to provide information and advice.

Thursday, June 14, 6pm to 7:30pm at Tecumseh Town Hall Council Chambers, 917 Lesperance Road. All are welcome to attend this informative evening.

The City of Windsor’s recreation department is holding a pair of open houses to gather information on recreation in the city:  what you like, might like and even might like to see changed. Everything is on the table from services to amenities, programs to facilities.  Come share your recreation wants and needs with us to help make Windsor the best recreation city anywhere. City Staff will be on hand to listen to ideas and discuss options as we move to create a recreation master plan (RecMP). 

Open House 1  Tuesday, June 12 from 2pm to 4pm at Devonshire Mall (food concourse area), 3100 Howard Avenue East.

Open House 2   Tuesday, June 12 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Windsor International Aquatic Centre (main lobby), 401 Pitt Street West.

On Saturday, June 16 bring your furry friends to the North Bay and District Humane Society for Barkfest Microchipping Day & BBQ, presented by Coldwell Banker. While your family enjoys refreshments, your pet can get microchipped - the most efficient way to ensure your pets’ safe return home if they ever get lost.
