They offer the largest, in-stock assortment of British foods this side of the Atlantic. Our tea pairing will be with Black Honey.  Samples of their sumptuous desserts will be available to have with your tea.  This is sure to be an evening you will wish goes on and on. The Rotary Club of Cornwall Sunrise is offering florist-quality chrysanthemums for Thanksgiving at $15 per plant; the same price since 2010. The plants will be delivered to a local business or residence address the week before Thanksgiving or they may be picked up by special arrangement on October 4th and 5th .  This is a fundraiser that benefits many projects and activities within our community.  

Plants are presold by Rotary members or online https://cornwallsunriserotary.com/  Purchases can also be made by sending an email to our Rotary email address rotaryclubofcornwallsunrise@gmail.com  or sending a private message using our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RotaryClubofCornwallSunrise . For a more personal approach, a phone call or email to an individual Rotarian is suggested. Any Sunrise Rotarian will be happy to assist. 

This is our oldest fundraising activity! The Rotary Club of Cornwall Sunrise was chartered in January 1989 and we delivered the first ‘mums for Thanksgiving to friends and businesses in Cornwall the week before Thanksgiving 1989 (35 years ago). These beautiful chrysanthemums of assorted fall colours come in 6” pots with a coloured foil wrap. Although we try to accommodate special requests, we cannot promise that recipients will receive flowers of a specific colour.

• International Programs – Eradication of Polio, Education and Treatment of Neglected Tropical Diseases (Buruli ulcer, Yaws, Leprosy, etc.), Medical equipment to Beirut & Ghana, Go with the Flow, Clean Water in Elementary Schools, vocational training and more.

Come and learn about how to maintain a healthy diet from Nutritionist Kathryn Matheson.  Our tea and coffee pairing this evening will be The Food Shop.  They will have special treats to enjoy with your tea and coffee. Learn how to properly prepare your gardens for winter with the experts from Johnston’s Greenhouse.  Our tea pairing will be with The Chocolate Rabbit.  They are the home of the Mud Bugs and are a family owned Swiss chocolate factory that will be sharing their truffle samples. Indulge in the Extraordinary with us. The Chocolate Rabbit will have items for sale on October 2. Dine & Donate for A Cure is a fundraising dinner for Light The Night Belleville, proceeds to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.

Come join us on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Bay Leaf Authentic Indian Cuisine Belleville for a night of delicious food and giving back. You will have the oppotuinty to try a variety of different appetizers, mains and deserts, all part of a beautiful buffet dinner.  Vegan and Vegetarian items are included.

Indulge in a mouth watering meal while supporting a great cause. All proceeds go to Light the Night Belleville and finding a cure for blood cancers.
