Prince Edward Community Care offers over 50 free events each month for seniors 60+ both online and by telephone. Online Zoom Classes & “Socials for Seniors” are held Monday to Friday. Join in at 10:30am for fitness classes, and in the afternoons at 2:00pm for arts & socials. See the Community Care website for the activity calendar. Seniors without a computer can join online Zoom webinars via the telephone and all Community Care Zooms now have closed captioning available.

The Carefor 50/50 is happening each month through 2022 to raise money for Carefor Civic and Mackay retirement homes in Pembroke. Funds raised will support programs and services that make sure local vulnerable seniors have a place they deserve to call home. And it gives you the chance to win!

Every Step You Take Makes a Difference! When you participate in the 2022 Hike for Hospice Event you will be hiking to help ensure our community members receive the end-of-life care they wish for and deserve. Celebrate and honour our loved ones in a special and meaningful way.

For the past 2 years we have not been able to hike side by side. This year, 2022, we are thrilled to be planning to Hike in person!

Cost: There is a minimum $50 donation required by each Hiker which will be waived if your total pledges/donations are $100 or more.
