The Municipality of Callander invites you to Centennial Park this Saturday, Dec. 4 at 5:00pm for Callander Lights Up Christmas. At 5:15 our mayor will flip the light switch to transform the park into a winter wonderland. At 5:30 Santa will arrive for a reading of “The Night Before Christmas”. During the evening there will be seasonal songs by local Girl Guides and Brownies.

Gift Certificates are available for Community Care programming such as foot care or Meals on Wheels or for buying goods at the Thrift Shop. Prince Edward Community Care continues the monthly curbside pick-up of meals on December 21, 2021. Chef Bill Grieve of Wheelhouse and Occasions catering is preparing a scrumptious meal of homemade soup, roasted turkey with stuffing and cranberries, potatoes, vegetable, roll and Christmas pudding for dessert. The cost is only $15.00/meal and seniors 60+ can order by calling the Community Care office at 613-476-7493. All meals must be paid for in advance. Meals will be packaged hot and ready to be picked up at The View Restaurant at the Picton Golf Club. Only those who preorder and pay will be served.
