Dreamcatchers, Dinner and Cards OH MY!
 

Our November Calendar is buzzing with workshops as we move into the holiday season! We start off the first week with Cooking With Friends; a dinner themed cooking workshop where you take home some delicious food.

We spin next to Create A Dreamcatcher; where Martina will teach you how to build your own dreamcatcher!

And finally, we end the month by designing your own cards with our Holiday Card Making!

All materials are supplied for our workshops, they are free to attend but you must pre-register.  Most workshops are limited to minimum 6 women.  To register for any of the  workshops, you can email gwomenscentre@gmail.com. We're super excited to finally unveil our plan - Santa Claus is coming to town! Science North is working with the Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce and Muskoka Steamships & Discovery Centre to bring a free event for families - Science North Pole.

On Saturday, November 27, Santa will visit Science North’s Great Northern Ontario Roadshow at the Muskoka Steamships and Discovery Centre. He will do visits with attendees - socially distanced of course.

The Roadshow is bringing some super fun science activities including race cars, interactive displays and a live show with exciting experiments. Additionally, some exhibits at the Muskoka Discovery Centre will be open to participants. Other community partners and businesses will also be taking part. Planning is still underway.

While provincial government and health unit regulations restrict a traditional parade, the Chamber did not want to disappoint the community. So the Muskoka Steamship & Discovery Centre is the location of this year’s parade replacement event.

Grand Hotel starring Greta Garbo, John Barrymore and Joan Crawford will be shown in the Meeting Room of the Chatham Branch on Tuesday, November 9 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome.
