The Circle of 7 invites you to end your summer with their Drive and Dine Event set to take place at the Unemployed Help Centre of Windsor on Saturday August 28th, at the Unemployed Help Centre of Windsor.

With all proceeds from this event directly benefitting local charities and our community, Drive and Dine is the Circle’s inaugural event in collaboration with Chef Joe with the Unemployed Help Centre graciously providing the Drive-Thru experience for a spectacular meal for you to heat and enjoy at home. Each $150 ticket includes a choice of two dinners and a bottle or red or white wine sponsored by Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards. You can buy as many additional dinners as you like, with a bottle of wine to accompany every two meals purchased.

Dinner for Two (or as many as you fancy) will be available for pick up on August 28th, between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. by drive-thru in the parking lot of the Unemployed Help Center at 6955 Cantelon Drive, Windsor. Full details, menu selections, and payment options can be found on the Circle’s website (http://circleof7.com/drive-dine).

Make a splash in support of the Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra!

Join us on Sunday, August 8 for stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, and more on the water in Belle River, hosted by the WSO Guild.

Come out any time between 10:00am and 2:00pm to SUP AND SUN (193 West River Rd., Belle River) and enjoy a day of fun on the water and hotdogs on the barbeque. When you’re done on the water, Belle River also has lots of local beaches and shops to explore.

After a year’s hiatus, the Warriors of Hope Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Racing Team is glad to be back again to host their 16th Annual 18-hole, 4-Person Scramble Golf Tournament at Osprey Links Golf Course on Saturday, September 11, 2021, sponsored by Country 90.5 FM CFCH.  The event is sure to be a great day for all. 

Don’t miss your opportunity to enter a team!  The entry fee is $125.00 per person, which includes golf cart, greens fee and a delicious chicken and rib BBQ dinner, with prizes awarded to the winning team, closest to the pin and longest drive; in addition, each participant will receive a $25 charitable receipt.

With the support of volunteers and associate members, this determined, energetic team has become a role model for breast cancer survivors, not only in North Bay, but also wherever they compete. The Warriors of Hope work to raise public awareness of cancer issues with a special focus on supporting breast cancer survival, particularly through active fitness programs like dragon boat racing.

All Rec swims at their outdoor pools are #FREE for the entire summer! Zones have been removed but pre-registration is still required (make sure to register each swimmer )

Indoor pools will continue to offer their programming at the reduced $2 rate.

Do you like to work outside? Tri-County Literacy Council is offering a free 4-week Landscaping course. Participants practice Essential Skills while learning about this position, meet guest speakers and attend a site visit. This certificate program starts August 16th.
