Do you need to improve your reading, writing, math or computer skills? The Niagara Regional Learning Centre offers free one to one instruction for adults with trained volunteer tutors. Tutoring is available for those needing to complete high school credits, prepare for GED exams or gain skills for better employment. Community Event - Kingston - Learning to Repair Webinar - Repair Café Kingston

Sustainable Kingston and Repair Café Kingston
(RCK) are hosting a free webinar on March 24 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm to walk you
through several typical household fixes RCK often helps people perform.
“Repairing helps people keep their valued items in service, save money, avoid the
landfill and get a great sense of satisfaction by not having to throw out a fixable thing,”
says Brian Weir, Director and Co-Founder of RCK.
The event will include live demonstrations of basic woodworking, fixing broken chairs,
basic electronics, and fixing broken lamps. At the end, there will be an opportunity for
people to ask about fixing their own broken items.
