Community Event - Brockville/Prescott - 2020 Rotary Fall Food Drive

The Rotary Clubs of Brockville are organizing a fall food drive in support of The Brockville  Area and South Grenville Food Banks.  

This Fall Food Drive will take place from Wednesday, October 7, to Saturday, October 10, 2020.

Our goals are to collect 26,000 pounds of food donations and $35,000 in cash donations for the Brockville and Area Food Banks. As for the South Grenville Food Bank, we hope to collect 4,000 pounds of food donations and $15,000 in cash donations.

Basic brown bags will be distributed by the Brockville Recorder and Times newspaper.

Participating grocery stores in Brockville and Prescott will have prepared pre-packaged bags for sale.

Join us in an online experience on Friday, November 6th, 2020. Hear more about the work that Niagara Life Centre is doing, testimonies from past clients, special musical entertainment, and more! While we won’t be able to gather in person, we do hope to deliver a similar experience for you to enjoy from your own home.

We are also excited to be partnering with Harbour Estates Winery in Jordan to offer a delicious meal.  Pick up your fully sponsored meal the day of the event, take home, heat and serve! Login to YouTube, and watch our virtual banquet.

Niagara Life Centre presents the Motorcycle Ride for Hope on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020. Starting out at Niagara Life Centre in St. Catharines, the ride will take you through the beautiful Niagara region and finish back at Niagara Life Centre just after noon. Participants are encouraged to seek pledges for Niagara Life Centre.

All money raised from this event will go directly to supporting the community programs and counselling services that Niagara Life Centre offers.

Looking for something for your family to participate in this September? Let’s get moving, Niagara! Join our first ever Virtual Walk and Run Challenge from September 12th - 26th, 2020! Grab your family and do a 5km walk or run for a purpose, while practicing physical distancing….

All money raised will go directly to supporting the low-fee counselling that the centre offers to families and individuals during this important time of need.

Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers for each category: Kids (12 and under), Teens (13-17yrs old), Adult/Family, and Team.
