Public Notices/Announcements - Windsor/Leamington - Leamington Temporary Road Closure – Alderton St

Contractors working on behalf of the Municipality of Leamington will be completing a culvert replacement project on Alderton Street beginning Friday, July 17, 2020 for approximately two weeks.

During construction, Alderton Street from Garrison Avenue to Rudgate Lane will be closed to traffic.

Access for local area residents will be maintained; however, no through traffic will be permitted. 

All work operations and closures are weather dependent and subject to change.

Community Event - Kingston - Easter Seals 2020 Harbour Pageant At KYC

Kingston, ON  – A NEW event, held jointly by the Kingston Yacht Club, Rotary Clubs of Kingston and Easter Seals Kingston area, the EASTER SEALS HARBOUR PAGEANT  will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2020. Rain date for this event is Saturday, August 22nd, 2020. This fundraising event will begin at 11:30AM at the Kingston Yacht Club. The Harbour Pageant will take boaters (in decorated sail, power and paddled vessels) along 3 waterfront courses.  Participants are required to pay a registration fee of $30 per single handed vessel, $60 for double-handed, $70 for families or crewed boats. Participants are encouraged to raise further funds through donations and sponsorships. Sailing instructions will emphasize COVID19 distancing and masking regulations. Donations will be accepted online, and supporters are encouraged to make their donation at http://www.easterseals.org/kingston-easter-seals-harbour-pageant/
