Quinte Trash Bash Postponed Until Further Notice

On Behalf of the Quinte Trash Bash Planning Committee

BELLEVILLE – Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the Quinte Trash Bash planning committee has decided to postpone the annual event until further notice to help ensure the safety of residents and volunteers.

Held each spring for the last 20 years, the Quinte Trash Bash brings people together to clean up roadsides, parks and sidewalks in Belleville, Prince Edward County, Quinte West and Tyendinaga Township. Participation is strong every year with thousands of residents, schools, businesses and groups volunteering their time to clean up the region.

Litter is especially visible this time of year and a number of residents are collecting garbage along trails and sidewalks when out for a walk. This is a great way to stay active but please follow these precautions: wear gloves, use a garbage picker if you have one, practice physical distancing of at least two metres apart from others and wash your hands with soap and water as soon as you get home.

For updates on this event, please visit our official website at www.quintetrashbash.ca.

nombre.
