The Chatham-Kent Economic Development Digital Service Squad presents an introduction to search engine optimization and marketing

Search engines: love them, hate them, can’t live without them. In an age of always being connected, search engines are the roadmaps to discovering nearly everything we can ever imagine. The same is for your customers – they are looking for your products and services … but being able to find what you offer is a different story.
Along comes SEO and SEM, two acronyms that drive business success on search engines. This session will look at the key information you need to know about both Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and how to take advantage of Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
The goal of the session – MAKE SURE YOUR CUSTOMERS CAN FIND YOU!

The event is being hosted by Chatham-Kent Economic Development, the Small Business Centre, and in partnership with WEtech Alliance.
This is a lunch and learn session.

Digital Service Squad
Over the past four months, the Chatham-Kent Economic Development Digital Service Squad has been out in the community helping businesses one-on-one improve their digital footprint. Now they are bringing together in a series of education sessions answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

The Canadian Cancer Society Daffodil Campaign is coming up and we are looking to recruit volunteers to help us make an impact for local people living with cancer. Money raised during the Daffodil Campaign funds groundbreaking research and a support system that makes life better for those affected by cancer.

April 3 - 5 is the Canadian Cancer Society's Daffodil Pin Campaign Weekend and we have pin locations throughout Niagara.  We need volunteers for Pin Ambassadors to take a short shift at these various locations.  Please visit this link to see if there is available time in your location -

https://cancer.volunteerhub.com/lp/niagara/

At the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), we know that cancer changes people but it doesn’t have to define them. We serve the nearly 1 in 2 Canadians who will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and work to support them by helping people live longer and enhancing their quality of life.

A beautiful flower, a powerful symbol, a simple pin.  Volunteer during the CCS Daffodil Campaign and you're not only supporting life-changing program and groundbreaking research that helps all Canadians - you are enduring the reminder that lift is bigger than cancer.

Your support matters.  Volunteer today -- thank you!
