Do you like to care for others? Do you have an interest in working in the health care field? In Canada, the population is aging and the need for more support for sick and disabled persons is rising. As such, there are more and more jobs for Health Care Support Workers. In this career exploration program, topics include:

-Duties of a Health Care Support Worker
-Diseases and Conditions
-The Human Body
-Health & Safety Awareness
-Guest speakers
-Site visit

The training is suitable for a variety of learners including those planning to return to school and people changing careers.

Back by popular demand and limited to 100 guests, Sense, Savour & Stroll is an elegant garden party on the evening of June 12, 2020 in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is hosted by the Shaw Guild in support of the Shaw Festival. Gourmet hors d’oeuvres and desserts, wine, beer and live music will be presented at three unique gardens; each a short stroll from one another.
