Community Event - Windsor/Leamington - 2020 Chinese New Year Gala

The Chinese Association of Greater Windsor (CAGW) will host its annual Chinese New Year Gala at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts on Saturday Feb.1, 2020. The gala will start with a live entertainment performance show in the Chrysler Theatre, then followed by a mixed Chinese and other cuisines festival banquet in the Skyline Hall. The event will be filled with Chinese costumes, dazzling performances with Chinese music, song, dancing, Chines tea tasting, art displays, and more.


The show will start at 3pm (admission will start at 2:30pm) and the dinner will begin at 6:30pm (admission will start at 5:30pm), you can also taste teas and coffees, try paper cutting, etc.


Tickets can be purchased online (www.cagw.ca or www.cagw.club ) or at Multifood Supermarket, 799 Crawford Ave, Windsor, ON N9A 5Y1.


Price:
Banquet with Show: $70 for Non CAGW member. There is 10% discount on purchasing whole table, please email board@cagw.ca to purchase/book the whole table.

Show & Pizza for kids (< 12) - $15.

Show only: $15 for adults, $10 for senior (>65 yrs) or kids (6 - 12 yrs). Kids under 6 year are free.

Join us on Monday, February 10th at 7:00 pm to find out what's new at the north end of the Counties.  Our speaker will be David Shanahan, Society Historian for the North Grenville Historical Society, and he will talk about the resources held in their Society's Archives, as well as its current and future activities.  Our meetings are held in the Brockville Museum, 5 Henry Street in Brockville. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Volunteers are available from 1 pm to 4 pm. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, at our Archives/Library at 5 Henry Street, Brockville (in the basement at the Brockville Museum). Members of the local Branch will be on hand to answer questions to help you in your genealogy research. Come build your family tree!
