Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors with the National Initiative for the Care for the Elderly (NICE) is holding a FREE interactive and informative
workshop on elder abuse for seniors, caregivers, and interested community members. Trained seniors will facilitate the workshop to teach others about the different types of elder abuse and resources available.

Ian Thomas at the The Mary Webb Centre For The Arts on January 18th.

Ian was all over the Canadian music charts in the 70's with songs like Painted Ladies, Time is the Keeper, Hold On, Right Before Your eyes and Pilot, yo name a few. A Juno winner and active friends with Murray McLaughin in Lunch at Allen's, this show sees Ian bring a trio, his great music and a lot of 70's memories to The Mary Webb Centre stage.

Community Event - Ottawa Valley - Country Classics - Olde Tyme Country Variety Show

The "Country Classics" Musicians - Lois Goldberg, Kathy Beskau and Dave Beskau are pleased to have local celebrity and 2017 Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Roddy McCann, as Master of Ceremonies.  Other special guests include; Ralph Verch, Anne Zadow, champion fiddler, Dean Lapierre, Dave Fynn, Ray Stoppa, Mike Whitehead, Ivy Stewart as well as young fiddlers and stepdancers Lucy & Wilson Lazarus and fiddler Braden Smaglinksi and his sister Jocelyn on button accordion. 

Tickets are $15/each and are available at Purvis Gallery & Framing - 185 Prince St. Pembroke and Saar's Store - Hwy 41.

Event takes place on Sunday February 16, 2020 at Knights of Columbus, 170 Ellis Avenue Pembroke beginning at 1:30pm.

Join the Fort Erie Lions for our first fund-raising dinner of 2020. A delicious Baked Ham dinner with scalloped potatoes, vegetables, salad, bread and dessert. Come discover passionate artisans first hand in the first year-round indoor retail market located in the heart of Downtown North Bay. Established by female artisans who were inspired to offer their creations directly in a small intimate space with personalized attention to you, the customer.

For our first year in business, you can visit us every Saturday from 10am to 4pm. We are located at 166 Main Street East, in Downtown North Bay, above The Country Way Natural Foods and The Queen Majesty Antiques.
