The community is invited to celebrate Earth Day at Malcolmson Eco-Park, St. Catharines. Join the Friends of the park for outdoor family activities including planting wildflowers, shrubs and trees, garden cleanup and mulching, hiking and free refreshments. There will be an educational presentation on pollinators, and on invasive plants. Parking at Grantham Lions Club. Wear suitable outdoor clothing and bring a shovel.

OUR ANNUAL NATIVE PLANT AND TREE SALE IS TAKING PLACE THE SAME DAY.  Purchase southern Ontario grown native plants for your yard that provide food and habitat for native insects, birds and wildlife. We sell" complete pollinator wildflower gardens" in 2 sizes: 10 - 4 inch pots for $35, and tray of 36 plants for $60.

At the beautiful Kingsville Golf Course, founded in 1925 and one of the finest golfing facilities in Southwestern Ontario with 27 holes inundated with trees, traps, hills, water and wildlife you will help support the programs and services offered to persons affected by acquired brain injury by playing in this tournament. This workshop is designed for health care professionals, students and those interested in brain injury. You will learn about the ABCs of Medical Cannabis from Dr. Mark Kimmons, Medical Director of Sunniva (Calgary), Dr. Chris Abeare, Neuropsychologist University of Windsor and Patrick Kolowicz, Director of Mental Health and Addiction, Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare. It is timely for clinicians and others to understand the role and impact of medical cannabis in the recovery of a brain injury.
