My Home, My Choice Fall 2019 is happening on Wed. Oct. 23 – a FREE learning event for people, families, friends, and professionals. Listening, supporting the vision, working together, beginning somewhere and keeping the work going into creating a home one’s own.

We are excited to share the real lived experiences of people and families – from our main presenter who is at the early stages of planning to . . . others who have bought a home, rented an apartment, renovated and/or created a secondary suite. We will be highlighting the important role of listening and supporting the choices that people with disabilities make. Learn about keys to planning with the person, hear inspirational stories highlighting the success of listening and some information about the Ontario Renovates Second Residential Unit Program and more.
