The Near North Palliative Care Network will host the 10th Annual Live Butterfly Release on Saturday, July 13th, 11 am to 1 pm at the Kiwanis Band Shell on Memorial Drive in North Bay. Members of the community reserve live butterflies in memory of loved ones who have passed. At the event, the butterflies are distributed and then everyone releases their butterflies at the same time. It is a moving event. Butterflies are available online at www.nnpcn.com. Just click the ‘Donate Today’ button. You can also reserve your butterflies by calling 705-497-9239, or by visiting our office at St, Joseph’s Motherhouse: 2025 Main St West North Bay, P1B 2X6. We accept credit cards. Donate $30 for 1 Butterfly, or reserve 4 for a donation of $100. All proceeds stay with the NNPCN to allow us to continue providing free palliative care and bereavement services locally, to all communities in Nipissing and East Parry Sound Districts: Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa, Temagami, Sundridge, Port Loring, North Bay and more. The NNPCN has been the only Community Visiting Hospice in our region since 1987 - 33 years of commitment to your community. Show your appreciation by reserving your butterflies and joining us at the waterfront where you will enjoy live music and the heart-warming tribute to those we have lost. Butterflies are limited, so call us today at 705-497-9239 or visit our website at nnpcn.com.
