“Planning & Brainstorming for 2019” - On Tuesday, February 5th, the Nipissing District Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society will be having an informal planning/brainstorming meeting and social where we will discuss possible upcoming presentations, workshops and fund raising ideas.  It will be held in the Joan Duquette Room on the upstairs Mezzanine at the North Bay Public Library, 271 Worthington Street East, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  For more information, please call (705)474-4830, extension 2833.  All are welcome!

Women's Place invites you to "Brunch, Bid & Bowl" as you bring together friends, colleagues and family members in support of domestic violence shelters in South Niagara. Whether you form a team of 6-8 bowlers so you can join us for the day or buy a ticket to "brunch and bid", you will be supporting women and children who our shelters in Niagara Falls (Nova House) and Welland (Serenity Place). There is no registration fee for teams who raise a minimum of $800. Brunch-only tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children 9 and under.

Activity Haven hosts a cribbage tournament the 3rd Sunday of each month. $10 a person, please bring a partner. Registration 11:30 a.m. Cards start at 12:00 p.m. Affordable lunch in the canteen. Call the office for more info 705-876-1670.
