The City of Windsor, in partnership with Healthy Kids Community Challenge Windsor-Essex, is making sure you have options for some quality family time this coming Family Day, Monday, February 19, 2018.
There will be free public skating at Charles Clark Square from 8:30am to 10:30pm weather permitting. Prizes and giveaways will be provided throughout the day.
For those looking for some organized fun, the Lanspeary Lions Rink is open for rentals between 8:00am and 11:00pm, though there is free public skating from 1:00 to 3:00pm as well. Prizes and giveaways will be provided throughout the public skating session. Anyone wishing to book some rental time should contact the Parks & Recreation office as soon as possible to secure a timeslot: (519) 253-2300 ext. 2714.
And, the Healthy Kids Community Challenge (HKCC), the Windsor-Essex Communities in motion (WE-CIM) and the City of Windsor are partnering to promote “Power OFF and Play” at Adventure Bay on Family Day: Guests 12 and under will have the opportunity to “pull a winning ball” for a chance to win free admission for the day to Adventure Bay Family Water Park Presented by WFCU Credit Union.

The Great Lakes Revue is a variety show starring the many talented students at Great Lakes Secondary School. This show has been an annual tradition for many years and was originally known as the SCITS Revue. Please come and enjoy our talented actors, comedians, singers, and dancers. The cost is $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the main office of Great Lakes Secondary School.

Join us at the Pembroke Legion on February 23rd from 7 - 11 for a valentine celebration at the seniors and friends dance. Cost is $7 Everyone is welcome. There is a door prize, spot dances and a 50/50. The light lunch is pot luck, thank you for contributing cold finger foods.
