Collecting blood during the colder months can be challenging because the weather can increasingly keep people indoors and many donors are away for the season. Canadian Blood Services is encouraging residents of Windsor to give life by donating blood in the next few days. More than 573 blood donors are STRONGLY needed at the upcoming Windsor & Essex county blood donor clinics from today to March 10.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays: 3-7 p.m.

Thursday: 11:30am-7:30pm

Friday & Saturday: 8am-12pm

2828 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps will be hosting a fundraiser with sponsor, RCL, Branch 255 on Match 25, 1-6pm at 5645 Wyandotte St. E. This event is to raise funds for the 50 year reunion/parade to be held in June. There will be Galley Goodies, bake sale, silent auction, door prizes and a chance to meet Cadets from your era.

Women in Trades is designed for females aged 15-30 interested in breaking into the trades. Males may also be accepted into the program.

Chatham, John D. Bradley Convention Centre, March 17th, 9am-1pm:

CK Animal Rescue invites the community to come out and participate in our Second Gigantic Indoor Garage Sale on Saturday March 17th, 2018 at the John D. Bradley Centre in Chatham. All monies raised will support CK Animal Rescue a local registered non-profit organization.

The event begins at 9:00am and runs till 1:00pm. Admission is Free.

Stage Squad Theatre Camp - Lots of fun and drama for March Break with Take A Bow Productions at The Cultural Centre!

March 12-16 from 8:30-5:00pm. Ages 5-16. Cost is $119.

Children will sing, dance, participate in stagecraft, theatre games and showcase their talent in a final performance on the Kiwanis Theatre stage.
