Drawing with Kelly Wallace: Conceptual Drawing – London-based artist, Kelly Wallace, will lead participants deeper into the practice of figurative and conceptual drawing. Join in on an intimate class experience as you are guided in a supportive and creative environment. No previous experience necessary. Ages 18 and up. Full series: $150 (+tax) for members or $180 (+tax) for non-members. Individual workshops: $75 (+tax) for members or $85 (+tax) for non-members. Materials and lunch included. Registration required. Family Sunday Activity: Electric Drawings! Paper Circuits – Engage, discover, and create every Sunday afternoon from 1–3PM. Make ordinary materials like graphite and paper come to life with a little help from Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). Batteries Included! Free. $5 Suggested Material Donation per family. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Making Connections: The Artist & The Viewer – Join Sally and Ihor on a guided walking tour through Making Marks and Beside Myself. Enter the intriguing minds of the curator, artist and writer as they consider the ‘mark on paper’ and its ability to generate a full range of emotions. Considering drawings created from the 15th to the 21st century, connections will be made between the hand of the artist and the experience of the viewer.

Session 4: Curvy Acrylics – A new program inviting youth with special needs, and special interest in fine arts, to explore art mediums through self-expression. The program creates an opportunity for participants to develop new artistic skills and take part in a positive recreational experience within an art gallery setting. Start off by creating bold and curvy shapes with a big Sharpie marker – do it right onto the canvas. Early arrival welcome at 4:30PM. Non-members: $25. Materials included. Spaces are limited. Participants should be able to follow one-step directions.

The Canadian Hearing Society is happy to announce our spring ASL courses will be beginning soon! We offer ASL courses based on the Signing Naturally curriculum, taught by certified Deaf instructors in a supportive and interactive environment.

Schedule for 102 
Wednesdays from 6 pm - 9 pm, April 11th - June 13th

Saturdays from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, April 14th - June 23rd (No class May 19th)

How much is the course?
All ASL classes are priced at $195 per student for registration, for any level. There are no material fees for ASL 102, as you continue to use the workbook from 101.

To register, please download the registration form from our website www.chs.ca/asl and submit the completed form by email attachment to asleducation@chs.ca . You may also come by our office, at the Frontenac Mall, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm and register in person.
