Northumberland Players, your local non-profit community theatre group, is mounting the toe tapping production of SISTER ACT.  This is particularly special because the rights to perform SISTER ACT have only recently been released to amateur community theatre groups.

SISTER ACT is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit film that has audiences jumping to their feet!

When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in in a convent.  Disguised as a nun, Deloris uses her disco moves to inspire the choir and the story moves on...

SISTER ACT runs at Cameco Capitol Arts Centre, Port Hope February 23,24,25/March 1,2,3 at 7:30pm and February 24,25/March 3,4,2-18 at 2:00 pm.  Group rates (20 or more) available.

Our annual pastafest is to help raise money for the cadets for special  activities, to and from activities,  getting them appropriate 102 clothing for different events and just making the cadet experience as much fun as possible.  100% of the proceeds goes to the cadet program.

Paint Night fund raiser. Saturday April 21st from 1 to 4 at Knox -St. Paul's United Church. Cost $45.00. No skills or experience needed. Funds raised go toward our mission to help build a city where no one journeys alone. Tickets are available at the church office (613 938-3704)

Join us and other Superheroes on Saturday, February 24th for YMCA Move for Kids presented by RBC as we bring together over 700 participants and volunteers across the region to spin, walk, swim or run to support our local kids. 100% of funds raised will allow children from families who face financial barriers to access YMCA membership services such as youth programs and swimming lessons as well as YMCA day camp. Last year cyclists across the Niagara region covered a total distance of 9775.5 km on spin bikes! That’s the distance to Mexico City and back! $63,494 was raised to support 461 kids to learn to swim or have fun at camp. We invite superheroes of all ages to participate in this fun, noisy beach themed event.
