Parkinson Canada is pleased to announce the formation of a new support group in Smiths Falls. Support groups provide an opportunity for people with Parkinson’s (and their care partners) to meet others, share information and experiences about living with the disease, find out about new advocacy initiatives and services and receive peer support. The Smiths Falls support group will take place the last Thursday of the month 1:30-3:30p.m. at Rideau Community Health Services, 2 Gould Street, Unit 118, Smiths Falls, ON K7A 2S5 starting January 25 2018. These monthly meetings will run through June 2018.
St Luke's United Church is holding their Annual Photography Exhibit on February 1st 2018. All proceeds of this event will go to the YMCA Breakfast Program. Enjoy 4 exhibits from local photographers, be transported to Africa and beyond with a guided presentation from our exhibitors. An intermission with delicious home-made treats and tea and coffee will be available for a donation. Join us at 7pm on Feb 1st, 350 Indian Road Sarnia.
Come on out for an evening full of good people, food and entertainment. This event will be at West St. Catharines Older Adult Centre located at 117 Chetwood St. St. Catharines.
This is a Free event, but you must bring a food dish with you to enter. The Pot Luck will start at 5:30 and entertainment by Dave Burden at 7pm
