Prokofiev’s timeless musical tale of a young boy and his animal friends is brought to life by the Kingston Symphony. Listen while Peter walks to the melody of the strings, the bird flies to the tune of the flute, the cat slinks along to the sound of the clarinet, and the wolf misbehaves to the notes of the French horn. Find out how all the characters are brought to life by the different sections of the orchestra in this classic fable. We also explore other animal-inspired works including a short film commissioned by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, by Kjell Boersma called DAM! The Story of Kit the Beaver, with accompanying score by Erica Procunier.

Tickets range in price from $10 - $20 and can be purchased by calling the Grand Theatre Box Office at 613-530-2050 or visiting www.kingstonsymphony.ca.
