The Belleville Public Library will be offering two computer classes this spring: Basic and Intermediate Computers. The Basic course, held on Thursdays from 2-3:30, will cover Windows basics, browsing the Internet, and working with Gmail. The Intermediate class will be held on Tuesdays from 2-3:30 and will cover Customizing Windows, Internet Safety, and Google Applications.

Dates for Basic Class: Mar. 8, 15, 22; Apr. 5, 12, 19; May 3, 10, 17  

Dates for Intermediate Class: Mar. 6,13, 20; Apr. 3, 10, 17; May 1, 8, 15

Community Event - Niagara - Pasta Supper For Everyone Thursday March 1st!

Bring your family and friends for a casual and delicious Pasta Supper at Holy Rosary Hall, 35 Queen St. South, Thorold from 4pm to 7pm. Choose pasta with either tomato or "white" sauce, meatballs, sausage, salad, dinner rolls. Coffee/tea included (eat-in only). Take-out available. International Women’s Day is March 8th. This year, the Belleville International Women’s Day Committee is pleased to welcome Cyndy Baskin of Ryerson University. Ms. Baskin will speak about the historical roles of Indigenous women prior to European contact, how colonization shattered their identities through the Indian Act, and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action in terms of violence towards Indigenous women. On March 8th, join us at 4:30 at the Library for the annual Women’s Day March through downtown, followed by refreshments and social hour at 5:00, and a talk by Ms. Baskin at 6:00 pm!
