The Sarnia Roadrunners present a 7 KM run on January 1st at 1 PM.  The event starts at the Animal Farm in Canatara Park.  The cost is $10 which includes a finishers' medal and refreshments.  No advanced registration is required.  Any questions can be sent to sarniaroadrunners@gmail.com

This afternoon concert includes a trio of magnificent works by composers who were looking for a slice of redemption. Beethoven slaved over his revisions to his only opera to get it just so; Korngold wrote his lyrical Violin Concerto in an effort to return to ‘serious’ composition; and at great personal risk, Shostakovich presented his stunning Fifth Symphony in the face of Soviet censorship.
