August is African & Black Canadian Appreciation Month in Oakville. This is the official event to celebrate the 3rd year in a row of. the proclamation & first year the Flag was raised at Town hall during the month of August for this occasion. 

Event is curated by Carlene Ling aka Vanda Li c/o her non profit BLing Events International. It is a Live music showcase of various artists from the Black African Caribbean -Canadian community across the GTA  performances from Oakville born and Halton region raised Contemporary R&B Juno nominee Adria Kain and a variety of other Black African Caribbean Canadian singer songwriters & musicians . Vendors on site . MC is Master T the legendary Much Music VJ/ host .
