Featuring the delightfully charming guest artist duo, French Squeeze (Jacques Arsenault and Marjorie Maltais) performing with Cantabile, LA VIE EN ROSE includes arrangements of well-known French songs from the Champs-Élysées to the shores of St. Lawrence.
With French Squeeze adding vocals and original accordion accompaniment to hits by Édith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Jacques Brel, Alys Robi, and La Bolduc, LA VIE EN ROSE ends Cantabile's concert season on a whimsical, rose-coloured note.
MAKE IT MUSICAL! is a brand new, one-of-a-kind musical theatre show created by the Cantabile children’s choirs. What’s it about? We don’t know… yet!
MAKE IT MUSICAL! is the culmination of a season-long project involving the creation of a new musical, co-created by Cantabile's Grande choir, award-winning Canadian composer Chris Thornborrow, and theatre designer Madeline McKinnell. Don’t miss this 5-performance run at the Isabel Bader black-box studio.
Conducted and curated by guest conductor Dr. Jamie Hillman, CANADIANA is an ode to the multicultural musical landscape of Canada, featuring works exclusively by Canadian composers.
Still under 40, Dr. Hillman is the newly-appointed Director of Choral Studies at the University of Toronto and a burgeoning star of the choral world. His career as a choral conductor, composer, tenor soloist, and pianist has taken him across Canada, the US, as well as France, India, and Indonesia.

As the days grow shorter and the cold starts to settle in, the songs of winter offer warmth and brightness that mark the changing of the seasons and time with family and friends.
A beloved annual tradition for many, Cantabile’s December concerts are a mix of traditional carols and seasonal music from around the world – a festive musical journey to light up the dark nights with our collective winter song.
This concert features the premiere performance of ‘River Snow’ by Qiushi Jiang, 1st-place prize winner of Cantabile’s inaugural 2022 BIPOC Song Competition.
For millennia, the infinite night sky and the luminous wonders of the galaxy have captured the imagination of artists and scientists alike.
