An essential food drive to restock the empty shelves at Kawartha Food Share. On Monday March 23, anyone who is not ill or in self-isolation, please leave a bag of non-perishable food items on your front porch. Beginning at 9 am, volunteers will drive around the city and collect the items, and deliver them to the warehouse.

Join Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley for the 7th Annual Box of Possibilities Fundraiser.  Proceeds from the Box of Possibilities will go to the Outcomes Fund which create opportunities for greater community involvement for people with intellectual disabilities. This Fund assists in achieving outcomes that may not otherwise be possible without this support.

This year, we are partnering with Griffith Farm & Market who will be creating delicious, farm-to-table lunches available for $10 each. 

Lunch options include:

  • Beef Sirloin with horseradish garlic spread on a kaiser
  • Veggie (cucumber, arugula, tomato, cream cheese)
  • Smoked ham & cheese on a panini

Plus: fresh fruit, and a homemade fudgy brownie!

Don't delay, order before April 23rd at 1 pm. Please email orders to Paige LeClair at pleclair@cluov.ca.

Pick up will available at Holy Name Church in Pembroke, Inner Strength Fitness in Cobden, and at the Deep River Library. Delivery is also available for 5 or more orders.

All essential services are still in place and operating without change in the Town of Prescott, including but not limited to water and wastewater management, emergency services, and garbage and recycling collection. Town Hall remains operational to provide essential services and assistance to residents by calling 613-925-2812 ext. 6200 or through email admin@prescott.ca. Facility closures will continue to remain in place indefinitely, to be reviewed again on April 5, 2020

In an effort to reduce the financial burden on Windsor residents who are following the best advice of public health officials and are working from home or in self-isolation, the City of Windsor will act to reduce the service fees and charges.

For those unable to meet the month of March property tax installment deadline the City of Windsor will waive the penalty charge associated with late payment on this installment. This action is applicable only for the month of March and will be re-evaluated on a go-forward basis.
