The Festival of Nations is back to stay and organizers are putting a call out to individuals, businesses and cultural groups interested in being part of the excitement that will happen July 3-5 in Tecumseh Park.

“We have set a goal of making the Festival of Nations the premier community summer party in Chatham-Kent and that will require people of many talents and enthusiasm to make it happen,” says co-chair Tracy Callaghan.

“We are inviting residents, businesses and cultural groups, who have a passion for their community, to be a part of the team in organizing a fantastic multicultural event,” says co-chair Dava Robichaud.

“We are excited about the potential of the Festival of Nations to become a celebration for residents of every community across Chatham-Kent,” says co-chair Darrin Canniff.

Those interested in learning more about what is planned for the Festival of Nations 2020 are invited to a launch event on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, being hosted by the co-chairs at the Retro Suites Derby Room from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A brief presentation will take place at 7 p.m., which will include details on how to become a volunteer, vendor or sponsor.
