About our "Beyond Dying" series:
Palliative care goes beyond comfort while dying. Knowing more about this multi-faceted topic helps us care for our loved ones, deal with changes in our own health, and be able to serve our community through organizations like Near North Palliative Care Network. This in-person education series complements the HPCO Hospice Volunteer Training Curriculum for palliative care volunteers and is an excellent learning opportunity for anyone, whether or not they volunteer with our client-centered palliative care service.
This lunch-and-learn series runs on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month and is open to everyone, though geared towards seniors and those who work in palliative care (professional or volunteer).
