On Tuesday, September 10th, Distress Centre Niagara will be holding our 14th Annual Suicide Awareness Walk. This event is in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day and in support of Distress Centre Niagara. 

We will be gathering to raise awareness in our community about this much stigmatized issue and to raise funds for Distress Centre Niagara.  Distress Centre Niagara is a not for profit organization providing 24 hour emotional support , crisis and suicide prevention and  intervention by telephone to anyone in need, particularly in the Niagara Region.   In 2018 the centre responded to over 15,000 calls from individuals who needed support.
