Harpists Amy Ley, Christopher Clarke, Andrew Rinehart and Anita Leschied along with flautist Averil Clarke and cellist Andrew McIntosh will present an afternoon of beautiful music at the Hospice, 6038 Empress St, Windsor, on Saturday May 25th at 2:30 p.m.  Space is limited so RSVP to 519 974-7100 ext 2259 or by email to: events@thehospice.ca.  This event is free to the public - donations to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County will be accepted.

Join riders from all over Ontario in our 16th annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour in support of A Place Called Home. With two trail route options(13k and 25k) and three road routes(50k, 100k and 160k) there is a distance for all skill levels. Routes are fully supported with rest stops and motorcycle support. The event begins and finishes at Boston Pizza Lindsay and concludes with a buffet featuring pasta and pizza.  Come join us on August 24th and help support our local homeless shelter!

The Buddhist Place is happy to offer a two-part series introducing the practice of meditation. Explore meditation in a safe and welcoming setting. A beginner’s guide to basic meditation practices. There will be periods of guided meditation, silent meditation and loving-kindness meditation. Opportunities will be provided to ask questions. Participation is open to everyone and offered freely.
