Join riders from all over Ontario in our 16th annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour in support of A Place Called Home. With two trail route options(13k and 25k) and three road routes(50k, 100k and 160k) there is a distance for all skill levels. Routes are fully supported with rest stops and motorcycle support. The event begins and finishes at Boston Pizza Lindsay and concludes with a buffet featuring pasta and pizza.  Come join us on August 24th and help support our local homeless shelter!

The Buddhist Place is happy to offer a two-part series introducing the practice of meditation. Explore meditation in a safe and welcoming setting. A beginner’s guide to basic meditation practices. There will be periods of guided meditation, silent meditation and loving-kindness meditation. Opportunities will be provided to ask questions. Participation is open to everyone and offered freely.

With this unique event Brain Injury Association of Windsor & Essex continues to work toward a common goal to raise awareness and funds for brain injury services and programs in Windsor-Essex County. Proceeds from Gala event go directly to support BIAWE.
