Attendees learn the principles of mindfulness meditation, the importance of living in the moment, and how these skills can reduce both physical and emotional suffering. Join Adam, our Community Dietitian in the community kitchen, to cook alongside other gents new to cooking and enjoy the meals we prepare. The best thing about cooking is that there is always something new to learn, or, to refi ne. We are pleased to offer a workshop that will focus around the basics of using
a knife in the kitchen. This hands on class will look at how to properly and safely hold a knife, sharpening techniques, varieties of particular cuts as well as tips and tricks to make you more efficient in your preparation of ingredients. $2

Calling all gents who enjoy being in the kitchen! This class is open to any man who has participated in the ‘Men’s Cooking Club’ before or who enjoys food and is looking to increase their cooking skills and confidence. Participants may sign up for either group A or group B, as both groups will cook the same meals. These classes are hands on and we always enjoy the delicious food together. $5 per class.
