St. Francis Advocates is a non-profit agency that supports people with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities throughout Lambton, Chatham/Kent, and Essex counties.

St. Francis Advocates is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of the people we support.  We are committed to empowering people by promoting independence, providing opportunities, encouraging growth through education, developing partnerships and collaborating with communities, within a caring environment.


St. Francis Advocates would like to invite you and your business/organization to participate in our
12th Annual Golf Tournament on June 22nd, 2018 at Widder Station G&C
(8395 Decker Road, Thedford, ON). 
With your support we will be able to assist in funding new and existing community activities for
people supported, such as our annual camping trip to Erieau Beach.

Please find included with this invitation, the registration form and the poster for the event.  We would like to invite you to:

  • Enter a Team of Golfers
  • Be a Sponsor (8 Different Levels of Sponsorship)
  • Donate a Prize or Auction Item (larger single items), or Golfer Gifts (bigger quantities of smaller items)
  • Volunteer for day of the Event

Join us for this “Canada Reads” literary “Survivor” themed event on Thursday, May 31 at 1:00 pm to discover which book you need to read this summer! Students from Chatham Christian High School will be championing 5 different literary contenders and your vote will help turn one book into a champion.

The contenders:

  • “A Long Way Gone” by Ishmael Beah
  • “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” by Mark Haddon
  • “Animal Farm” by George Orwell
  • “Ender's Game” by Orson Scott Card
  • “Obasan” by Joy Kogawa

This event will take place in the Community Living Café area of Chatham Branch (120 Queen Street). All ages are welcome, no registration required.
