It’s not too early to start thinking about Christmas. This year the Sun Parlour Chorus is sponsoring a Community Christmas Choir which will be performing at Roseland-Trinity United Church (3919 Howard Ave, Windsor) on Sunday December 10 at 6:30 pm. If you are a singer who would like to get into the Christmas spirit, come join us as we sing traditional Christmas Carols and classic yuletide favorites.
Rehearsals will be held on Monday evenings November 20, 27 and December 4 at the Masonic Hall, 30 Laird St. Essex, from 7:30 to 8:30. All songs are arranged in 4-part acappella harmony. The Jocko Point Community Centre will hold its monthly all-you-can-eat Brunch buffet on December 3 from 9 am until noon. Bring your Shoebox gift items to the Kingston School of Arts. We will supply the shoebox, paint supplies, coffee/tea and treats, and you will decorate the gift box for donation to a woman living in a Kingston shelter.
The Shoebox Project for Shelters collects and distributes gifts in the form of shoeboxes for women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in communities across Canada and the US.

Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family’s history - a wound they don’t want reopened. In effect, she draws a line in the sand and dares them all to cross it.
