Shoppers Drug Mart presents "Women With Heart - Girls Night Out" on November 2nd at the Aquatarium, 6 Board St, Brockville. Cocktails and appetizers will be served from 6:30pm until 7:45pm, followed by one funny lady, Deborah Kimmett. Tickets are $100 and seating is limited. This event supports the Brockville Cardiovascular Program. Tickets are available at the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, 613-345-4478.

Chatham-Kent Public Library, in partnership with Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent, is offering Learn-a-Skill: Woodcraft! Participants 8 years and older will learn about different types of wood and woodworking tools and craft a birdhouse over 4 weeks.
