The Poverty Reduction Network of Sarnia-Lambton is hosting the annual Stand Up Against Poverty Rally at City Hall to mark the United Nation’s International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, a day designated by the United Nations in 1993 to promote awareness of the need to eradicate poverty around the world.

We will hear stories from people who have experienced poverty and learn about resources in our community that can help.

Our Mayor, MPP and MP will also say a few words.
