Fun with Flags In-Person event August 16th – Bloomfield

Join Rob Leek, amateur vexillologist for fun with flags.  Learn about flags from across Canada and from around world, have a discussion about heraldry, and what makes a great flag design.  This in-person event will take place on Wednesday, August 16th at Bloomfield Town Hall, 289 Main Street at 1:00pm.  Registration is required. Curbside pickup meal for seniors on August 24th, 2023 – pick up in Waupoos

Prince Edward Community Care holds monthly curbside pick-up of meals. The August event is on Thursday, August 24th, 2023 and the pick up location is Waupoos. Chef Bill Grieve of Wheelhouse and Occasions Catering is preparing a scrumptious meal of homemade soup, a roll, Chicken Swiss, rice, vegetables, and lemon meringue pie for dessert. The cost is $18.00/meal and seniors 60+ can order by calling the Community Care office at 613-476-7493. All meals must be paid for in advance. Meals will be packaged hot and ready to be picked up at North Marysburgh Town Hall, 2699 County Road 8, Waupoos. Only those who preorder and pay will be served.
