The second annual Backyard Summer Social in support of Five Counties Children’s Centre returns on June 24. Celebrate the start of summer by leaving your gala attire at home, while enjoying an afternoon of fun-filled activities that lets you be a kid again — while taking in the knowledge your ticket purchase is helping support Five Counties kids. Registration is still open to vendors for our outdoor sales event! Deadline to register is May 15th. You will be provided with a 10x10 space at the track/football field in Sydenham. Bring your own table, canopy and chairs.
This event is in support of the SHS 150 Reunion. Organizer Marie Wilkins can provide additional information.
The 28th Annual General Meeting taking place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8 at the Oakville Galleries (1306 Lakeshore Road E., Oakville, ON L6H 1L6). Check-in and tours begin at 5:00pm, the AGM will commence at 5:45 pm.
Join us as we celebrate and share in the past year and receive an exclusive opportunity to tour the Oakville Galleries newest exhibit. We will also hear from the Galleries new Executive Director, Séamus Kealy!
Please note that parking is available in the main Gairloch Gardens lot on Lakeshore Road East. There are a limited number of parking spots available adjacent to the Gallery entrance for guests with limited mobility. Come and join us on June 19th at beautiful Beach Grove Golf & Country Club for the 2nd Annual DWCC Golf Tournament. This year's golf tournament will support our ACCEL youth program for ages 12-17. The DWCC can only provide programs such as skating, boxing and a safe space because of the support of our community partners. This year's event will be with a Team Scramble Format.

Shotgun start: 12:00pm
Social: 5:30pm
Dinner: 6:00pm

The SHS 150 Reunion Golf tournament will be held on June 23, 2023. The cost will be $100 per player, which includes your green fees, cart, and dinner at Rivendell Golf Course! We will have a Shotgun start at 1:30 pm but we are asking people to arrive at 1:00 pm. This will be a BEST SCRAMBLE format. You can register as 1 person, double, triple, or group of 4. One person can register for a whole group of 4, we just need all the names of each person. Having their phone #/email would help but the main person can put down the same info for each person. Prizes will be awarded for the closet to the whole, longest drive, and a hole-in-one will be a Ford Bronco for 2 yrs from Revell Ford in Verona!
This event is a fundraiser for Sydenham High Schools big celebration this August! 150 years and going strong!
TRIVIA NIGHT AT HARROWSMITH BREWERIES ON MAY 13TH! Doosr open at 6:30, and the fun begins at 7:00. Entry tickets are $20.00 each at the door. Light snacks will be served.
Come with a team of your friends or on your own and you'll be placed on a team of new friends! Trivia Night will be an evening of laughter, a friendly competition, and maybe an opportunity to learn a thing or two! Hosted by former SHS grad, Chris Shibley.
Competition not your thing? No worries! Come enjoy a craft beer by the fire and have a fun evening out.
