We would like to invite all back for the second year MUDMEN Live at 5603 Spring St. Niagara Falls, on. November 12, 2022!!  Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm.  Please use elevator entrance to the 2nd floor.  All ages show, tickets cost $27.50 and can be purchased on ticketscene.ca or wisefamproductions@gmail.com.  Tickets will also be available at the door for $30.00.  All sales are final.

Join the Kingston Symphony and Maestro Evan Mitchell for a special sneak peek of our 2022-2023 season.

Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts

This is a free concert, but registration is required.

Spend the evening with the Kingston Symphony and hear highlights from our Masterworks, Pops, Family, and Special concerts. The preview of our spectacular Masterworks Series will consist of excerpts from Brahms’ Symphony No. 2, Dean Burry’s Tracing Colville, Mozart’s Symphony No. 38, Bologne’s Sinfonia No. 1, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, and music by John Williams.

You won’t want to miss hearing some teasers from our Pops Series as well as from our Family and Special concerts including music from various video games, Danielle Lennon’s Strathspey, and Salute to Ol’ Blue Eyes. We will also give you a taste of what will be performed at Harmon in Space Live, Symphonic Shenanigans, and even Candlelight Christmas.

This concert is free and will be general admission. A ticket must be reserved in advance through the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts. Please go to kingstonsymphony.ca to book your space or call 613-533-2424.

You'll also learn how to share power at all stages in the volunteer engagement cycle.

   Scottish Country Dancing --

    It's Fun!  It's Active!  It's Social!

    Country Dancing - (not to be confused with Highland Dancing, which is usually done in competitions or performances - think of the 'Sword Dance') is done in groups of dancers to set formations, which are described and walked through for practice.  The only equipment needed is soft-soled shoes.  No prior experience is necessary.

    Location:  Canon Davis Memorial Church, 380 Russell St N, Sarnia

    Time:  Every Monday 7pm to 9pm, except some holidays - beginning Sept 9th, running until the end of May.

    Cost:  First three lessons are free; there is a nominal charge after that.

This will be the 4th and final event of this year. Come out and get your early Christmas shopping started with these amazing local vendors and crafters on Saturday, October 1st from 9am-2pm. If there is enough interest would also have a separate area for anyone interested in bringing their items for a parking lot yard sale for $20 for 21/2 parking spots, set up for everyone starts at 7am. Please bring your own table, chairs and tents. Thanks for all your continued support it is very much appreciated by all...Come see all the unique items you will find in a one stop shopping experience for all, everyone welcome!!
