Join us for our Powerful Tools for Caregivers program on Wednesdays, June 22nd to July 27th, from 1:30-3:30pm. This six-session program provides caregivers with tools and strategies to better handle the unique challenges they face. Held in the SVCHC Community Room, 353 Pitt Street.

Self-guided tour of several unique local private gardens.  Tickets/maps are $10.00 per person. Tickets/Maps are available for purchase at The Great Vine - 36 Main Street East.  The price includes a $10.00 coupon for Sandhill Nursery. Chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Lake of Bays Garden Center. All funds raised help to beautify our community.

Branch 18 at the Forks is hosting a Kids Fishing Derby on Canada Day. There is free bait available and extra poles too, if you don’t have one of your own. Come on out and participate in the morning and have something to eat (free for kids - donation for adults), then you have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy other Canada Day events happening in our community.

The Kawartha Lakes Parks and Recreation Division will be partnering with the Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce, Don't Drive Distracted - I Pinky Swear and Lindsay Dodge Chrysler Jeep to provide community members with free outdoor concerts during the summer months. These family oriented concerts provide an opportunity to develop community spirit while enjoying and supporting local musicians.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us for live entertainment at the Frank Banks Gazebo in Victoria Park, downtown Lindsay. Concerts are scheduled to take place on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm and Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm during July and August.
