Join the Kingston Symphony for an afternoon of music by artists who were fierce in spirit! Ethel Smyth was a devoted champion of women’s suffrage in the United Kingdom, and that movement’s anthem is featured front and centre in her Overture to The Boatswain’s Mate. Award-winning cellist Bryan Cheng joins us to perform Saint-Saens’ Cello Concerto No. 2, playing on the very same Stradivari cello which was used to premiere the work in 1905. And we finish with a brilliant work from a young genius, Bizet’s sparkling Symphony in C, a melodious testament to his extraordinary talents.

Spring Flowers to benefit NOTL Cats Rescue, our mission is to shelter, nurture, and socialize abandoned and homeless cats in a loving home-like environment until they can be adopted to their forever home. We are a non- profit charity group of volunteers. 456 Line 2, NOTL, 11AM-2PM.
