We’re hosting a Garage Sale at 4767 Bath Rd./Hwy 33 (2 km west of Amherstview) on Saturday, October 2, from 9am – 3pm, with a rain date of October 3.
You will find home décor and household items, baby things, woodcrafts, tools, used books, and tons more. Come check us out!
We’re also accepting donations of blanket for Loving Hands Kingston.

Communication is an essential part of life. People have different ideas and beliefs. At times, it can be impossible to come to an agreement. Communication can bring forth positive change and new ideas. Communication can also lead to conflict that damages relationships at home or at work. This training helps adults improve their communication skills in a safe learning environment. In this program, we explore topics such as assertiveness, dealing with conflict and difficult people, anger, and so much more. Benefit from guest speakers. This 4-week training program starts Tuesday, October 12th (due to Monday’s statutory holiday) from 1pm to 3:30pm. From then on, the course runs Monday to Thursday. FAMILY ADVENTURE AWAITS!
Quest4CF is a family friendly scavenger hunt throughout the beautiful Niagara Region. Participants will venture out in their vehicles to solve clues and riddles on their Quest for treasure, while raising funds to help in the fight against cystic fibrosis (CF). As a Halloween inspired event, participants are encouraged to “dress for the Quest”, wearing Halloween costumes along their journey.

In this exhibit, artist Sue Archibald tells stories of what a safe home means through the imagery of domestic dwellings. The paintings appear playful, folksy, and whimsical but the viewers are invited to uncover meaning and thought that may be buried within the contextual surface of seemingly charming artworks.

It’s the Fall Season for the Sarnia Table Tennis Club! The club meets every Tuesday, 7 – 10 pm, October 5 – December 21, at Paterson Memorial Church, 120 Russell Street. Enter through the Kathleen Street door. The season price is $6 for adults and $5 for students each time. Any level, beginner to pro, is welcome! U-First is an educational program for all members of a care team that are supporting people with behavior changes due to dementia or other cognitive impairment. This would include health care providers in a direct care role and care partners (family and friends). This program is a person-centered approach to looking at the whole person.
