The Brockville and District Horticultural Society Garden of the Month winner is Eleanor Newman of 37 Pine St and the corner of Bethune, Brockville. Eleanor was thrilled to be recognized as the Garden of the Month for June 2021 by the Brockville & District Horticultural Society. She is the Society's first selection since August 2019, as the GOTM award was temporarily suspended due to the Covid situation.

Eleanor has spent more than 10 years developing and enlarging her garden until it surrounds her home. She uses many different varieties and colours of shrubs, perennials, and hanging baskets full of annuals to enhance her home.

It is a labour of love and definitely worth viewing.

Halton Hills Public Library

The Halton Hills Public Library has proudly served the community for more than a century. The Georgetown Public Library was founded in 1895. Three years later, the Acton Public Library opened its doors. The two libraries operated separately until they merged in 1974. The HHPL’s mission is to engage the residents of Halton Hills in exploring ideas, expressing creativity, and making connections.
