Volunteers have already up-loaded attestation papers, military and medical records, etc. - 885 files in all - for Lindsay’s WWI unit, the 109th Battalion. Plans are in the works to upload over 450 additional files containing the muster rolls (lists of names) of every Canadian Army unit of WWI. Visitors to the website will find more than 950 books for their reading pleasure. Watch for further interesting items to follow.

Along with regular legion news and events (when health restrictions allow), the site provides information about their Veteran’s project, artifacts from their collection and exhibits on display in their museum area. Visit the site at www.lindsaylegion.com

The CK Vaccination Team is reminding people who have 2nd dose appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine scheduled in the coming days that Ontario has extended the time between doses with limited exceptions.

If you had a 2nd dose appointment scheduled, your appointment needs to be rescheduled. You do not need to call now. Please call CK Public Health at 519-351-1010 to book your 2nd appointment 3 months after your first dose.
