We serve people between the ages of 19 and 65 (some exceptions may apply) who want to improve their computer skills, document use, writing, math and other essential skills for further education, employment or life.
Classes in Eganville, Barry's Bay and Pikwakanagan. We also offer mobile classes in rural communities or in the workplace. Remote and in-person classes with one-to-one training. E-learning with in-class support from an instructor.
Learn essential skills through our targeted training courses. Some examples are Person Budgeting, Introduction to Computers, Hire Learning, Retail and Customer Service, Introduction to Bookkeeping and so many more...
Skill level is assessed at intake and required for registration.

Community Event - Niagara - U-First! Advanced
U-First! Advanced is a new education program for health care staff who provide direct care, who have already taken U-First! and want to enhance their skills and ability to apply the U-First! Framework. This 6 hour education program will help you to:
- Deepen your understanding and ability to apply the U-First! framework
- Improve collaboration among all members of the team, including care partners
- Increase the wellbeing of people experiencing behaviour changes
- Reduce stress and increase job satisfaction for you and for others on the team
Note: this is a pilot program being developed by the Alzheimer Society of Ontario and participants will be invited to share their feedback through surveys and interviews.
